Starting out as a Heifetz-trained child violin prodigy, he became a member of Bang on a Can and Steve Reich & Musicians. Reynolds co-founded Ethel, the contemporary string quartet, combining the classical ensemble with technology and new music. He can currently be seen touring with Meredith Monk, David Krakauer and Matt Haimowitz’s Akoka project, and with his own show, Still Life with Microphone.

Hey this is awesome. Would have loved to be there, I have a love of the violin and ableton live. on YouTube? If you had an e-book showing how you use ableton live as a performance instrument I would buy it now. I am a musician too but just learning ableton. I am really starting to see the potential for performance. cheers!
