more on Todd Reynolds: is a violinist/composer known for his work with amplified violin and electronics. Starting out as a Heifetz-trained child violin prodigy, he became a member of Bang on a Can and Steve Reich & Musicians.  Reynolds co-founded Ethel, the contemporary string quartet, combining the classical ensemble with technology and new music. He can currently be seen touring with Meredith Monk, David Krakauer and Matt Haimowitz’s Akoka project,  and with his own show, Still Life with Microphone.

more on Ableton Live: is a pro loop-based software music sequencer. Unlike others, Live is designed around the notion of being as much an instrument for live performances as a tool for composing and arranging.
