End of Tour

the last show in seattle was a BLAST., and the audiences in every city were amazing… Thank you all for your generosity and your listening… A warmer welcome on my first time solo to some of these cities would not be possible. EP’s flew off the table, sold out one show ahead of the end. The Books’ DVD’s also are going like hotcakes, but thankfully you can order them, along with Oven Mitts and Posters off their site. The Books have gone on to Minnesota and Chicago and New York, we’ll hook up again in a week in Massachussetts in a few days. Pictured below, Nick with a really wonderful hand-painted sign from a fan. I forget where we picked it up, but we celebrated it and carried it all over the nation. It says…

1/2way through, we say goodbye to the East Coast
On to Austin today, then to Malibu. Met some absolutely wonderful folks in Atlanta last night. Little Five Points is a street with great african stores and used and vintage clothing and great barbequed chicken right on the street. A great audience at the Variety Playhouse treated Nick and Paul and myself royally.. Had a short conversation with Victor Wooten this morning before leaving. He and his band follow us in Atlanta tonight. To all you who came up and spoke with me personally last night, great to meet you! t.
Welcome to My Evolving Cyber-Presence Collection
I’m trying desperately to get some code together here before I head out on the road. This is my first attempt. This should take a few different incarnations before it settles down into something we can live with for awhile. That’s North Adams in the header, taken only a week ago. Home for the Bang on a Can Summer Institute and Todd Reynolds it is, and my home base for now. This is a blog, so you can comment, and I hope you do! Be well, keep rockin’, play loud, play often. On the Road Again with The Books
We’re heading down the highway. Picking The Books up in Philly, then down south, across to Austin, Texas, then to Malibu, Ca. all the way up to Vancouver. 11 Cities in 11 Days.
